Nina Ginzberg (March 11, 1959 - October 20, 2009) later known as "Nina Taylor" was a minor character who appears in "The Sypherz". Starting off as a young wife of a mobster when her husband was killed she formed a faction to try to seek revenge for her husbands killer. Her group ruled over a small part of California and eventually she engaged in a all out war with her husbands murderer which got herself killed along with her son.
Background[]
Early Life[]
Nina Ginzberg was born in to a Jewish father and mother (born 1926) whose family was originally from Germany, and she grew up in New York most of her life. She was the youngest of her four siblings with an older brother and two older sister.
Meeting Lorenzo[]
In school she was one of the brightest minds her teachers had seen, and once she became a teenager she was well set to go fourth to college until she met a young mobster by the name of Lorenzo Colombo she fell deeply in love with the hooligan she even rejected going to college to be by his side. The two even got married in 1986 much to Nina's fathers dismay who didn't even show up to the wedding. Even through Lorenzo was a well known mob gangster the couple was happy and two years after their after getting married the couple became a family with their first son with a child present the newly formed family was extremely happy.
Lorenzo's Death[]
When 1993 rolled around Lorenzo had been a made-man of a mafia family for years and he had his own operation going which irradiated one of his lieutenants who was longing to move up the ranks as newly made man. During a new-years party this same lieutenant became intoxicated and attempted to rape Nina, but Lorenzo rescued her in just time before he could complete the sexual assault Lorenzo in the ended up killing Nina's attackers who was also a made-man. Lorenzo knew killing a made-man was against mafia rules and was punishable by death, so he already knew it was a matter of time he set his family up with new last names and paid for them a way to California. Nina thought Lorenzo was coming to join them in their new life but she soon found out he was not, and Lorenzo was killed by a mob hit-man for his "crime" against his family.
Forming The Lost Children[]
Now living in California, Nina changed her last name to "Taylor" in hopes that she and her children would be able to move on from the past that they had left behind. But Nina soon realized the alarming rate of homeless children in her area pretty soon she started opening her mansion to the disfranchised she clothed and feed them. The children nicknamed her "Momma T" "because they truly seen her as a mother with her newly found children she seen an opportunity. Nina began to manipulate her "children" into staging a full takeover of Bakersfield,California the newly formed faction started their campaign by stealing from and killing off all the street gangs that were present at the time. In the end she got what she wanted California was her and it seemed no one could knock her of the thorn she fought to be on once able her son even joined the ranks of her organization. When the word got around of the factions takeover people began to dub them The Lost Children.
Death[]
She ruled over her part of California with no one even thinking of challenging her until some big players in the mafia came in trying to move in on what she had after a small scrimmages between the two in which The Lost Children managed to mostly win, but after many battles a all out war began the fighting lasted months with many casualties on both sides. During all the fighting she discovered Antonio Delfino boss of her opposition was the man who gave the order of killing her husband this fueled her rage she went at them harder than any two bit petty street gang she had faced in the past, but this came at ultimate price that was her son Dante he was killed saving her greatest pupil Dustin "Cheese" Whitefield from a explosion. After Dante's death The Lost Children began to lose the war and with her numbers declining she seen the only way for the killing to stop is if she surrender to Antonio. Nina arranged for her to surrender for Giovanni in return her children could walk free, so when it was time for her to be handed over to Antonio she said her goodbyes to the children and Dustin drove her to be given up Giovanni's men then took her away this was the last time anyone heard or seen Nina.

Nina is very caring and has a lot of wisdom which she preaches to the children. She can be very spiteful and always holds a grudge no matter how small.

She usually wears business suits rarely wearing anything casual and she wears her hair in a blonde ponytail sometime she may let it down.
